Riddick Lamont Bowe was born on August 10, 1967, as the twelfth of 13 children to his parents. He was born to Dorothy Bowe in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood, where he grew up. Brenda, one of his sisters, was killed in an attempted robbery in 1988 by a heroin addict. Henry, another brother, died of AIDS.
