Hope Elizabeth “Liza” Soberano was born in Santa Clara, California, on January 4, 1998. She is a Capricorn and will turn 23 in 2021. Jacquelyn Elizabeth Hanley is her mother’s name, and she is an American. John Castillo Soberano is her father’s name, and he is a Filipino.

Soberano had her breakthrough in the hit romantic comedy television series Forevermore (2014), where she played strawberry farmer Maria Agnes Calay alongside Enrique Gil, who played Alexander “Xander” Grande III, a hotel company heir who later becomes Agnes’ love interest. The series finale received a 39.3 percent rating. The popularity of Soberano and Gil grew as a result of the success of the TV series.

Soberano appeared in the film based on the Wattpad book The Bet after the success of Forevermore. Originally titled the same as the source material, the film adaption was renamed Just The Way You Are (2015).

Soberano and Gil then acted together Gerald Anderson in Mae Czarina Cruz-romantic Alviar’s drama film Everyday, I Love You, which was released in October 2015. Liza and Gil subsequently went on to star in the June 17, 2015 release of the Filipino teen romance comedy-drama film “Just The Way You Are.” The film, which was based on the Wattpad book named “The Bet,” was a box office success.

From 2016 till the present, the show has grown in popularity and success.

She made her acting debut in the romantic comedy melodrama series Dolce Amore in February 2016. Serena Marchesa, a little girl raised in Italy by her adoptive parents, was her character. She became the new face of Maybelline in August 2016.
