Along with Big E and Xavier Woods, he is a member of the group “The New Day.” In 2013, “Pro Wrestling Illustrated” named him as the 20th best wrestler in the world, based on his numerous championships. On February 24, 2006, Kingston made his professional wrestling debut against Tony Omega at Chaotic Wrestling. On June 4, he competed for the “PWF Mayhem Heavyweight Championship” against Evan Siks. He had a tryout at his wrestling school in Boston, where some WWE producers were present, and they liked his success so much that he was invited to wrestle in “Deep South Wrestling” in Atlanta. In September 2006, he signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to DSW. On September 21, he faced Montel Vontavious Porter in his first match. He was added to the WWE roster later that year and fought two matches against Charlie Haas and Trevor Murdoch. In June of the same year, he paired up with Eric Perez to face Keith Walker and Rycklon Stephens at the “Florida Championship Wrestling.”

On January 22, 2008, Kingston made his ECW debut and defeated David Owen in Charlottesville. At the “Wrestlemania XXXIV” pre-show, Mark Henry defeated him. He was eventually defeated in a match against Shelton Benjamin. In “Extreme Rules,” however, he defeated him. Before “SummerSlam,” he beat Chris Jericho for the “Intercontinental Championship.” Following that, he and CM Punk claimed the “World Tag Team Championship.” He then beat Chris Jericho to win a spot in WrestleMania XXV’s “Money in the Bank ladder match.” He won the “US Championship” in 2009. In 2016, he, along with Xavier Woods and Big E, became the WWE Tag Team Championship’s longest-reigning team in the company’s history. “The Book of Booty: Shake It. Love It,” he wrote. In 2017, he released “Never Be It” with his “New Day” members. He joined the “Royal Rumble” the following year as the 16th entrant, but was eliminated by Andrade “Cien” Almas. In February 2019, he was called in to replace Mustafa Ali, who was out with an injury, for an episode of SmackDown Live.
